New semester begins week of Jan 7Foil is traditionally the first weapon that fencing students learn. Most of our beginner classes are foil classes, but they provide a great foundation for all three weapons. To get started, choose your age group above. Equipment is provided for all group classes; just wear exercise pants and sneakers. We recommend tennis or indoor soccer shoes if you have them. If you happen to have your own equipment, you're welcome to bring it. We encourage beginners to purchase their own mask and glove (about $60 for basic ones) for both your own convenience and for hygiene. We charge an annual non-refundable registration fee of $50.
