New semester begins week of Jul 14
The junior group classes are for children 10-16 years old. All equipment is provided for beginner and intermediate groups, although we do recommend fencers buy their own mask and glove (about $60). Intermediate fencers must purchase their own fencing pants (about $40). Beginners should wear sweatpants (not shorts or jeans). Please note there is an annual registration fee of $50. Junior Competition Group
Fencers in the junior competition group take one group class, one private lesson and at least one bouting session per week. By invitation only. Students should check with their coach for group placement; please arrange your private lessons schedule and payment at the club. If you're new to Brooklyn Fencing and think you (or your child) qualify, please call us and speak to the head coach about a placement test.
Friday competition group is primarily conditioning and for junior fencers only. (No child section on Fridays).
